community terms
Polymorv Kitchen & Lab. Last updated October 7, 2026.
1. A free, vetted, good-faith community
Polymorv Kitchen & Lab is a free, private community. Membership is by invitation, and every request is reviewed. By joining, you agree to take part in good faith: ask honestly, share what you can, credit others' work, and treat members with respect.
2. Confidential information is your responsibility
Do not share anything you are not authorized to share, including your employer's or clients' formulas, specifications, supplier pricing, trade secrets, or other information covered by a confidentiality agreement. If you choose to share confidential or proprietary information, you do so at your own risk. Polymorv Kitchen & Lab and its organizer:
- do not guarantee the confidentiality of anything posted in any channel, including private channels;
- are not responsible for how other members use, disclose, or rely on information you share; and
- are not a party to any agreement, collaboration, or dispute between members.
Before discussing specifics with another member, consider signing your own NDA with them directly.
3. No professional advice or guarantees
Answers in the community are informal opinions shared in good faith, not professional, regulatory, food safety, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying anything before relying on it, especially for products sold to the public. The community is provided "as is," and the organizer is not liable for any loss arising from your participation or from information shared by members.
4. Food safety is your responsibility
Members share recipes, techniques, and experiments, some of which go beyond established food safety guidance. This includes cooking below recommended internal temperatures, fermenting or culturing with organisms, curing, preserving, canning, foraging, and other methods that have not been reviewed or approved by the FDA, USDA, CDC, EFSA, or other food safety authorities.
If you choose to prepare, eat, serve, or sell food using anything shared in the community, you do so at your own discretion and risk. Polymorv Kitchen & Lab, its organizer, and its members are not responsible for any illness, allergic reaction, injury, or other harm that results. Follow the food safety guidance of your local authorities, take extra care when cooking for children, pregnant people, older adults, or anyone with a weakened immune system, and get qualified review (such as a process authority) before selling any product.
5. Removal of members
The organizer may suspend or remove any member, with or without notice, at the organizer's sole discretion. This includes, without limitation:
- when a complaint is filed against a member, pending review;
- for sharing information in breach of a confidentiality obligation;
- for spam, solicitation outside designated channels, harassment, or bad-faith participation.
Suspension during a review is not a finding of wrongdoing. The organizer's decision is final.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you allow other members to read and discuss it within the community. Do not repost other members' content outside the community without their permission.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued participation means you accept the current version.
